My first contact with the temazcal was in the Hidalguense Mountains with an Otomi community. It was there that I met my abuelo from the tradition who is still my teacher around Mexicanism, traditional medicine and the temazcal. I have been guiding temazcals for 8 years now and I am proud to be a sun dancer.
