In the Mayan tradition there are naguales, which essentially are energies that represent different aspects of life and of nature. March 4 is the day of IMOX, the energy of water. This is so important because right now in many different traditions fire is dominating so we are needing to bring in more of the water energy. The balance of duality.
Water rules dreams, emotions, subconscious, mothers/women, and flow.
Alejandro will begin by doing a chat about naguales, in general and explore more about IMOX. Alejandro will talk about how you can work with these energies in your life for balance and enjoyment.
We will go deeper into topics of the subconscious and using your subconscious and dream states to understand yourself and your emotions better. Alejandro will guide you in a meditation that will help you to connect deeper with this part of you while Lauren takes you on a sound journey.
We will close the session with a ceremony for the water and another one for the fire.
The water ceremony is where the sacred communities of water guide us into this inner purification. In the stillness of this ceremony, as we honor the constant flourishing of Life in ourselves, we remember that the healing of one is the healing of all. From this union, we find the strength to heal ourselves, to honor the world around us, and to create more harmony in our relations with others, walking together in the wisdom of the Earth.
Among the Maya, the Sacred Fire Ceremony is a vital and foundational spiritual practice. It is a ritual of feeling and sensing, guided by the principle shared across many Indigenous traditions: “Less mind, more living.”
The *Sacred Fire, as an element, has the unique ability to quiet the mind, creating space for deeper connection to the spiritual realms. It opens a pathway, allowing us to step into the domain of the ancestors, guides, *naguales, and the spiritual communities that walk alongside us on Mother Earth.

It connects you to Ajaw Essence—the Great Spirit, the source of all wisdom, power, and vision, for guidance, clarity, healing, to give thanks and to ask for our visions, dreams or petitions to become tangible. This always entails your unwavering commitment to act, to walk with integrity, and to align yourself with the flow of Spirit.
We will spend 4 hours together connecting mostly with the water and ending with the fire to create a complete energy. In order to have peace, we must honor them both.
